Laurell K. Hamilton is a full-time writer and mother living in St. Louis, Missouri with her husband Jonathan and daughter Trinity. She owns three dogs and a ever-changing number of fish. She was born in Heber Springs, Arkansas and grew up in Sims, Indiana. Altogether, she has written twelve Anita Blake books, and is still continuing with the series. Laurell is also the author of the Meredith Gentry series, which revolve around a fae princess.
